The Center started operations focusing on activities majorly inspired by industry-wide research on the business and human capacity needs of NMSMEs in Nigeria.
The Center started operations focusing on activities majorly inspired by industry-wide research on the business and human capacity needs of NMSMEs in Nigeria.
The results culminated into rolling out of support programs and services in partnership with industry players to NMSMEs including industry-demand-driven TVET, business development services and technology tools to support financial inclusion within the context of an innovation hub in Abuja, Nigeria.
Since then, CSED's operations have been characterised by initiatives aimed at strengthening, supporting, and strategically growing NMSMEs, which is creating sustainable jobs and uplifting families from poverty.
Our programming and engagement are guided by two implementation pillars, five goals, and eighteen indicators, ensuring that our initiatives are purposeful and impactful. We employ a systematic approach to assess enterprise complexities, develop growth-oriented solutions for NMSMEs, regulators, SMEs support organizations and provide strategic advice and implementation support
Our programs are implemented through our three (3) Departments including Department for Strategic Enterprise Education (DSEE), Department for Business Digitalization & Funding Access (DBF), and CSED Integrated Strategy Unit (CiSu) Limited.
